My family has always loved camping. When I was little we went camping A LOT. Never in a tent, my parents have always had some sort of camper. We had one of those campers that went into the back of the truck and the bed part was OVER the cab of the truck. My parents would spend a few days packing it all up and then the day we would leave they would get me and Zach out of our beds and put us up in the camper bed at like 5am. We would go right back to sleep and when we woke up we were far from home and would slam our faces up against the window screens and just stare out at the road and talk and play in the bed until we stopped for donuts. We also had a tent trailer and now my parents have what is called a 5th wheel. It is much bigger than anything we ever had growing up. They were going on a little weekend camping trip to Lake Texoma last month and asked if we wanted to go. We figured it would be a good time for Olivia's first camping trip. We stayed at a place called Cedar Mills which is a place where people have mobile homes that they either live in or is their lake getaway and they also have campsites. My mom's sister, Cathy, and her husband, Randy, have a place there and they had what they call a "Fly In" that weekend which is why my dad wanted to go. There is a grass landing strip there in the park and pilots from all over fly in and land and park their planes and just camp out. The park is right on the lake and they have a restaurant overlooking the water and they also have a petting zoo!

One of Olivia's favorite indoor camping activities is playing with beads. My parents got her all these beads since she loves playing with jewelry so much. She calls them her necklaces and she puts on as many as she can at one time.

One of Olivia's favorite outdoor camping activities is playing with rocks, dirt, and sticks. Here she is putting rocks into a hole that is in that railroad tie.
The petting zoo was really cool. It is just a pen with 2 goats, a cow, a sheep and some ducks.
Johnnie named this goat LeRoy. Both goats would jump right up on the fence to eat out of your hand.
Olivia loves MooMoos :)
She was sitting on that big piece of wood until Johnnie told her to come on and that we were done camping and it was time to go back home.
So then she got up and ran as hard as she could away from us both. She loved camping. We all had a great time and decided we would do it again in November.
