Playing at MiMi and Poppy's house

Olivia and I went out to my parents house one day last month and she had a blast playing in the sprinklers!

You can see in this pic how something is not right with her jellies.

I finally got her to come to me and stop so I could see what was going on with her jellies. We went ahead and removed them and she hasn't worn them since. They look like an ankle sprain waiting to happen!
Our neighbor down the street at my parents house has a little boy the same age as Olivia. His name is Slayton and he is such a cutie! Shanlee brought Slayton down so he and Olivia could play. He is ALL BOY and Olivia didn't know what to think about his "roughness" but they had fun together and I'm sure the older they get the better friends they will become.

It looks like she's got her fingers in her nose but I'm pretty sure she was cramming food in her mouth LOL. Right in front of her new boyfriend!

Kylie got braces!

Olivia loves Kylie so much! She looks forward to seeing her every morning because we take her to school and every time we pass the school (which is almost every time we leave our house because it is on our street) she points to the school and says TYDEE. She used to pronounce her name Heidi but now she says Tydee. She hasn't quite conquered the K sound or the L sound :) Anyway, Meredith brough Kylie over after she got her braces and she got some cute pics of the girls being their silly selves.

Museum

I was really excited when I saw that our playgroup was meeting up at the children's museum in fort worth because I've heard so many good things about it. Olivia had a lot of fun and I can't wait to take her again. The first thing she did when we got in there was run to this table of blocks, sit down in a chair, then she started licking all the blocks! GROSS! I was like NOOO! So she stopped until I got my camera ready and then licked a few more - SICK.

She LOVED the baby dolls they had there. They have it set up like a hospital nursery so the babies are in plastic bins and they have a diaper changing station and an x-ray station and you can feed the babies and give them shots, etc... She just wanted to carry around as many babies as she could. I got her down to one baby and she took it everywhere with her.

She dropped her baby and said "OH MAN!!!"

When the kids put their hands on the metal handprint air shoots up and makes the balls fly around or the pinwheels spin. Her and her baby liked that.

When you push those white buttons it makes big bubbles in those water tubes. Her and baby liked that also.

King

My dad put his reading glasses on King and he didn't seem to mind. Love him.

Gangsta

Olivia wants to be in a gang. A gang of turkeys that is. I went ahead and googled "what to call a group of turkeys" because I didn't want to use the wrong term. The correct term for a group of turkeys is either a rafter or a gang. Being the hoodrat that I am, I prefer gang. My parents have a gang of turkeys that live on their street. They used to just stay down at the end of the street, probably because it is a dead end and there is no traffic down there. But over the past couple of months they have made their way up to my parents house and they really like it there. The past few times we have gone out there the turkeys have been walking around in the front yard and Olivia gets so excited when she sees them.

Like a true gangster, she thinks she is going to creep up on them. She is telling us SHHHHH as if we are the ones that are going to scare them away.

Then she decides she's just going to run right toward the middle of them. Because she is a fearless gangster.

This is on a different day and she is yelling to them "TURKEYS! COME HERE!"

Then she bent down and put her hands on her knees and called them.

The turkeys have been pretty cool to have around just because they are not something you see often. The past couple of weeks they have become more and more comfortable and my parents will look up to find them peering in the windows at them. And they walk right up onto the back porch while Mox is laying there. He is such a sweet and tolerant dog to let them hang out in his space. King, on the other hand, hasn't been out to Ma and Pa's house in a while because I'm afraid he will get curious and run toward them, they'll run from him, he'll chase them, and then who knows what will happen. I don't want to find out so he just has to stay at home.
