Banana bread - YUM!

I got a slice of banana loaf the other day at Starbucks and made the mistake of giving Olivia a bite. Speaking of "bite", it is one of her top 3 words right now. Anytime she sees anyone eating anything she reaches for it and yells "BITE!" Anyway she LOVED the banana bread and I ended up giving her the entire slice. She couldn't stop smiling about it so I figured I should take a pic.

More Lakehouse Fun

Nana saved this little table from when Johnnie was little so the grandkids could use it and it has worked out great at the lakehouse. Olivia is still kinda small for it though, after I took this pic she started sliding over.

lunch at the lake usually takes place in the bumbo for Olivia

Olivia was the first one to take a bath in nana's huge tub and she loved it!

TWO piggy tails

Olivia got more hair and has graduated to TWO piggy tails instead of one and she looks so cute! Here are her very first ones...

Easter

This was Olivia's second Easter and we had so much more fun since she could hunt easter eggs.
Olivia's 1st Easter

And now...
Here she is wanting my cousin Shannon to blow one of those dandelion weeds.
all gone

Olivia with her Aunt Shannon

Johnnie had so much fun helping Olivia hunt Easter eggs - like it was a sport, lol.

Kynslee Grace Knight

Kynslee was born on April 6th and Johnnie and I drove out to Slidell to see her a few days later. She is super cute and so lucky to have such great parents. Dave and Bridget both acted like they had done it a hundred times before, they are just naturals at being parents. Congrats to all the Knights and the Fletchers - Kynslee has already brought so much more joy to both families!

Meredith and I made these cookies for all Kynslee's visitors and they turned out really cute
the new Knight family - love them!!!

Ronnie McDonald

I know its bad but I love McDonalds, always have. I don't eat it that often but every once in a while I want it. I always just go through the drive thru at fast food places but now that Olivia is eating solid foods, I decided to take her into McDonalds one day when we were out. She surprised me by wanting bites of my cheeseburger and of course she ate fries too. Then when we were leaving she got all excited when she saw the statue of Ronald McDonald so I took their pic together, lol.

Sophia turned 1

In preparation for Sophia's 1st birthday party, I helped Carolyn make an Abby Cadabby cake for Sophia to smash. We made a practice one first and then let the girls play in it. Here is cutie Sophia before the mess.

And the mess begins...

Olivia looks like, "What do you think? Is it good?"
This is what was left of the cake, they really didn't eat much but just smeared it all around.
Then we put them in the little bath tub, I love this pic of them!
And here is Sophia walking!!! She has been walking for a long time and it is so cute to watch her. Olivia is still not interested in walking but she likes watching Sophia walk.
I went back a few days before the party to help Carolyn with the actual Abby smash cake and Sophia's bday present had been delivered. She got this pink escalade and her and Olivia had so much fun playing in it while we decorated the cake.
