All Bundled Up

I love the cold weather and have had so much fun bundling Olivia up to keep her warm. I took these pictures when she was sitting on my bed watching Charlie Brown The Great Pumpkin. It has been her favorite thing since before Halloween when it came on and I recorded it. She used to sit in the same spot on the bed and watch the entire hour long show. Now that she crawls I can't put her on the bed to watch it anymore. Notice she is only looking at the camera in one picture. Its hard to tear her away from charlie brown.

december

wow, i'm so behind. i don't remember taking a whole lot of pictures in december though so hopefully i can get all caught up tomorrow. even though i didn't take a lot of pictures, a lot has happened this month. Olivia got a tooth, started crawling, she waves and says hi at the same time which is the cutest thing EVER, and now she is pulling up on everything. She also sleeps with a pillow and a blanket which she loves. The past few nights she has wanted to take her saw to bed with her. It is a small clear saw with a green handle and it has little balls inside the clear part that rattle when she shakes it. I'm pretty sure her and her uncle Zach are in there sawing things in the night. As long as they don't saw the crib apart I guess its ok. I just looked at her on the monitor and she is sound asleep still gripping her saw. I love her.

Thanksgiving

We always have 3 Thanksgivings - one w/Johnnie's fam, one w/my mom's fam, and one w/my dad's fam. I only remembered to get out my camera at one Thanksgiving though - the one w/my dad's fam. We spent Thanksgiving Day at my cousin Kelly's house in Weatherford and had so much fun. Thanks to Kelly, Scott, Abby and Morgan for having us all over! We usually have Thanksgiving at my grandparents house but we thought we needed a big change this year since we were all having such a hard time with the holidays. We all miss PawPaw and Zach so much and the holidays bring back so many more memories of both of them. I'm glad we went to Kelly's though because the weather was great and we all got to be outside with the horses and of course it was Olivia's first Thanksgiving so that was very special. I am most thankful this year for her. I don't know what I would do without her. She has been my rock through all the hard times this year and I love her so much!

Another Playdate in the Country

Lara and Hayden were supposed to come to our first playdate at my parents house but Hayden wasn't feeling well so a couple of days later when she felt better we all went back out there. We started with pictures in the wagon.
Olivia didn't mind wagon pics...
but Sophia was not interested and Hayden just wanted to pull Olivia's dress off
We thought maybe Sophia just wanted to go for a ride in the wagon rather than just sit there...
we were wrong.
LOVE her pouty face!
LOVE this face too!

my daddy trying to cheer up Sophia

Olivia and Hayden playin in the wagon

check out our limo dog! LOL!

King, Mox, and Rowdy
Sophia smiled when we told her we were going inside to play
Sophia was our only crawler so it was fun watching her crawl around everywhere!
Olivia emptied out an entire package of diapers and threw them everywhere
Sophia and King became great friends

Hayden had fun playing in the exersaucer

Two 8 month olds

Carolyn needed to clean up her house so I told her to bring Sophia over to play with Olivia so she could clean in peace. It was not bad at all but I got to see what it would be like to have 8 month old twins. Sophia has a very mellow personality. I had only seen her upset once or twice before and that was because she was hungry and tired. But this was Sophia when she realized her mommy was gone...
Of course Olivia thought it was hilarious...
And this was Sophia after I told her I loved her very much and that I promised to take good care of her just like mommy...
She looked skeptical, LOL.
But she started playing again and her and Olivia had a great time.

THEN I realized it was 45 mins past Olivia's feeding time so I made her bottle, put Sophia in the exersaucer in front of the tv in my bedroom and started feeding Olivia in my bed. Sophia was happy for maybe 1 minute and then she wanted out. So I told Olivia she would have to feed herself for just a sec while I picked up Sophia. I propped her with pillows and propped the bottle up with more pillows and figured it would only stay that way for a few seconds which was all I needed to pick up Sophia. Well, Olivia didn't move a muscle and that bottle stayed in the same place until she was finished so I sat in the bed with Sophia and played while Olivia watched Charlie Brown and fed herself, LOL.
