The Ranch

This past weekend we went back down to the ranch with Chris, Lara and Hayden and had such a good time. The girls were super cute together as always. Everytime we get together both girls have learned something new and it is so fun to watch them grow up. Hayden is such a happy, smiley baby and her lovey personality is starting to come out and I love it. She for sure knows what "kisses" means and she don't hold back. She has such a sweet, innocent look about her. Whereas my child always has that look of mischief, LOL. Olivia is into anything and everything. Watch your necklace, earrings, glasses, buttons, etc... The girl will snatch anything she can get her little hands on. She is still jumping and rocking as long as she is awake. Her new trick is to make noises with her tongue. Spit goes everywhere and she thinks its hilarious. And it is. She will also sit and talk to herself as long as you let her. She loves playing with her toys and hearing songs. When she hears a song she knows you can't keep her still. And she loves being outside and she is still definitely a mama's girl. Both girls were great on the plane rides. They even got a complement from a man! He came to me and Lara at the baggage claim to tell us what good babies we had! Lara and I both had the girls in the Baby Bjorns at the airports and we got lots of looks. Lots of double takes trying to figure out if the girls were twins. We were asked that so many times. Friends not twins. We got down there Thursday evening. Friday we all went into Alice and ate at Chenty's for lunch and then Pam and Lara and I and the girls went to Walmart and the boys went to the meat market, ugh. Saturday we stayed at the ranch all day and hung out. Memaw (chris' grandma), Tammy (chris' aunt), and Sarah (chris' cousin) also came that day and it was fun to visit with them. On Sunday me, Pam, Lara, and the girls drove to Robstown for some country peddler thing. We had a lot of fun shopping for cute xmas stuff for the girls. Then we flew back home on Monday. Can't wait to go back because the girls will have changed so much and will be even more fun next time we go! It is so cool to see them look and laugh at each other. And the smooches are so cute! We tried several times to get pics of them together and it seemed like every time one of them was happy, the other was not in the mood. We did get some good ones though so our patience was worth it!

Lara and I picked out this "I want a PONY" shirt for Hayden to wear for Jim. Lara has been asking for horses at the ranch for years so we thought this shirt was perfect. How could anyone say no to this cutie?

Johnnie picked out a coordinating outfit for Olivia.

Johnnie rented us a sweet minivan again which always works out great. Here are the girls asleep in the minivan after we got back from Walmart.

Friday evening we hung out around the fire as the sun went down and it was so pretty. Jim gave Olivia a pheasant feather to play with.

Olivia was happy to see the jumperoo when we went to the main house on Saturday morning.

Good mornin!
Sarah and Hayden

After breakfast we got the girls ready and headed down to the lake to go fishing.

Hayden got the Catch of the Day!!!

This is our attempt at a little photo shoot out in the grass but Tekalody wanted in too. She loves the babies.

I brought out a ton of toys for Olivia to play with and she would rather play with a cup.

I got the girls these "thankful for mommy" onesies to take pics together and they turned out really cute.
